The closing time at Pearson’s Falls will move back from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.

That means the last admittance will be at 4 p.m. This change stays in effect through Feb. 28.

As the days get shorter and dusk arrives sooner, the park needs to close earlier for the safety of its visitors.

Pearson’s Falls and Glen continues to be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. The falls will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, as well during the month of January.

Pearson’s Falls is a 90-foot waterfall located off Highway 176 south of Saluda, at 2748 Pearson’s Falls Road, Saluda. The quarter-mile trail up to the falls follows Colt Creek.

Admission is charged.
