‘Roastin’ on the Ridge’ at FENCE set for Nov. 24

Foothills Equestrian Nature Center invites everyone to take a break from the turkey leftovers for an afternoon of oysters, stew, beer and wine from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24.
“Roastin’ on the Ridge” will be located the FENCE Center overlooking Hawk’s Ridge, and will feature live music by local musician Matt Hardigree and beer courtesy of Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.
Tickets, which must be purchased in advance, are available at FENCE.org or by calling 828-859-9021. Beer, wine, tea and dessert are included with each ticket.
All proceeds will go to support FENCE’s programs and events, such as the Therapeutic Riding of Tryon program, youth and adult educational programs, summer camps, free family events and more. Additionally, the funds raised will also help to support the upkeep and maintenance of 384 acres of land and 5 miles of trails, which are open to the public 365 days a year at no cost.
