The public is invited to the seventh annual Tryon Beer Fest, which will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.

An annual festival tradition includes an outdoor oyster roast, photo booth, games and a selection of local, regional and unique craft beers, cider and food, all while enjoying the views of historic downtown Tryon and the first rise of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Tryon Beer Fest will feature more than 20 breweries and a rotating selection of over 50 craft brews. Food vendors include a Bavarian plate, North Carolina barbecue, vegetarian options, pizza and more. An oyster roast will also be featured, which can be purchased by the bucket or oyster shooters.

This year, Tryon Beer Fest will welcome local and regional musicians: Suburban Angst and the Carburetors.

The Tryon Beer Fest combines small town charm with entertainment and quality one would expect in a big city, representatives said. The festival prides itself on short lines, and tickets are capped at 1000 to preserve the small-town feel.

The festival is  21-plus event, and no dogs allowed in the festival boundaries.

This event is produced by the Tryon Downtown Development Association, and funds raised will benefit downtown improvement projects.
