“Larry” Wayne Jerome Johnson of 405 Campbell Avenue, Landrum, SC, died October 11, 2018. He was the husband of Mary Whiteside Johnson and the son of the late Ms. Ruth West Johnson and Mr. Robert Johnson, Sr. He was employed by LSC Communications in Spartanburg (formerly R.R. Donnelly) for 37 years. Surviving in addition to his wife is one brother, Billy (Nancy) Johnson; five children: Denise (Bernard) Johnson-Wheeler of Duncan, SC, Dwayne (Melanie) Johnson of Spartanburg, SC, Chiniqua Johnson of Inman, SC, Christopher (Brandi) Jackson of Rutherford, NC, and Alashia (Brent) Black-Painter of Holly Springs, SC; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one aunt, Willie Maude Green and six other sisters-in-law: Joyce Whiteside, Catherine Whiteside, Lucille Fant, Penny Young and Katrina Davis.

Services are Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Landrum United Methodist Church Life Center and the receiving of friends will be on Monday at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Landrum Springs Church.

The family is at the home.

Cannon and Sons Mortuary in Landrum is in charge of arrangements.
