Polk County’s junior varsity notched a 2-0 sweep of Rosman on Monday in a nonconference volleyball match in Rosman.

The Wolverines improved to 14-6 with their 25-15, 25-23 victory.

Rachael Davis had five kills and seven digs for Polk County, with Belen Akers adding three kills and seven digs. Rollins Carter had 11 digs while Emmie McDowell finished with 11 assists and four digs.

The Wolverines stepped back into Western Highlands Conference play on Tuesday, traveling to Mountain Heritage.
