Held under the shadows of one of Polk County’s most historic structures, the second annual Columbus Heritage Festival took place Saturday on the lawns of the county courthouse. The event celebrated some of the region’s deepest traditions, with art and crafting demonstrations, and music by Old Time Overmountain String Band.
