Larry “Joe” Crawford Ross, 69, of Hendersonville, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at his home.

Born in Polk County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Crawford and Dorothy Davis Ross. 

Joe worked at Hampton Inn in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He was a member of 2001 Baptist Church in Dana, North Carolina.

Surviving is his wife of 21 years, Sonona Parker Ross; four stepsons, Norman Bell (Tara) of East Flat Rock, North Carolina, Stephen Bell (Jamie) of Edneyville, North Carolina, David Bell of East Flat Rock, North Carolina, and Matthew Bell of Saluda, North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Lorraine Metcalf of Edneyville and Carol Burrell (Johnny) of Columbus, North Carolina; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  Also surviving are four sisters, Hazel, Sadie, Marie and Diane.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at Mountain Page Baptist Church Cemetery in Saluda, with the Rev. Bill Brackett officiating.
