Saluda Living in Place will offer the AARP Safe Driving Class from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Saluda Fire Department on Greenville Street.

Attendees will learn updated rules of the road, safety strategies to reduce the likelihood of having a crash, how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time, and how to drive more safely in today’s challenging environment.

AARP has found that over nine in 10 course participants report changing at least one key driving behavior for the better. Over eight in10 participants felt that information they learned in the course has prevented them from being in a crash.
