National recording artists The McDonald Sisters, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, will be the featured guests at this year’s Praising in the Park, which takes place at 4 p.m. Saturday at Rogers Park in Tryon. Apryl Miller Cunningham, of Tryon, along with seven other participants, are also scheduled to appear. The event is free, with free food offered to guests. Praising in the Park is sponsored by the Unity in the Community organization, and funded by the Polk County Community Foundation’s Free Community Grants Fund. (Submitted by David Staley)
