Polk JVs blank Madison for fifth straight victory

Make it five straight wins for Polk County’s junior varsity volleyball squad.

The Wolverines earned a 25-10, 25-10 win Tuesday at Madison, improving their record to 10-5 overall and a perfect 5-0 against Western Highlands Conference teams.

Polk County served 18 aces in the match to help build the foundation for the win, led by Kaylin Jenkins’ four aces.

Emmie McDowell had 10 assists and three aces, Kylee Mullis had five digs and three aces, and Rachael Davis had five digs and two kills for the Wolverines.

Polk County will be back in action on Thursday, traveling to Owen for another WHC match.
