The Tryon Country Club Men’s Golf Association played a One Best Ball of Four format on Sept. 23. 

The winners were as follows: 

First place gross: Jerry Pospisil, Dave Gunter, Rody Dayvault and Richard Barraud — 36

First place net: Bill Basye, Jerry Lasco, Richard Connolly and Art Brown — 28

Second place gross: Doug Gelbert, Bill McCall and Jerry Perry 

Second place net: Bill Kelly, Tyce Marshall, Robert Morgan and Roger Newman

Closest to the Pin on Hole 3: Roger Newman — 13 feet, 3 inches
