The World Equestrian Games recently brought an opportunity for students at Sunny View Elementary to get a firsthand glimpse into life in another country.

Three young Spanish students from the region of Catalonia paid a visit to Sunny View, along with their English teacher, Lindsey Boix, who accompanied the students as they traveled with their family to Polk County for the games. The children’s parents took part in the endurance competition at WEG.

Boix, plus her son, Edwards, and the children talked with Sunny View students about life in Spain. The students were deeply interested in the discussion and asked a lot of questions.
