Polk County’s junior varsity improved to 5-4 Tuesday with a 2-0 sweep of Owen in a Western Highlands Conference match at Polk.

The Wolverines took a 25-15, 27-25 win to improve to 5-4, 1-0.

Emmie McDowll had seven assists, six digs and three aces for Polk, with Kylee Mullis adding five kills, eight digs and two aces. Rachael Davis had four kills and five digs, and Rollins Carter had 12 digs and three aces.

The Wolverines travel Wednesday to West Henderson for a nonconference match.
