Enka hung on Thursday for a 2-1 victory over Polk County in junior varsity volleyball action in Candler.

The Wolverines dropped to 4-4 with the 25-21, 22-25, 15-12 loss.

Racheal Davis finished with 10 digs, nine kills and an ace for Polk County, with Kylee Mullis adding 12 digs, four kills and four aces. Emmie McDowell had 11 digs, 17 assists and two aces, and Rollins Carter finished with 21 digs for the Wolverines.

Polk County hosts Owen on Tuesday in its first Western Highlands Conference match of the season.
