The Salvation Army of Henderson, Polk and Transylvania counties will host its third annual Red Shield Classic golf tournament on Monday, Sept. 17, at Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club. Each player will receive a boxed lunch and a bag of goodies during the 18-hole event. There will be prizes for Low Net and Low Gross, as well as many on course prizes. There will also be lots of door prizes.

Proceeds from the event will benefit those in need in the tri-county area.
