A tradition common at professional and college sports venues is making its way to G.M. Tennant Stadium.

Polk County cheerleaders are selling “Growl Towels,” small towels designed to be waved and twirled at all PCHS athletic events. PCHS cheerleader sponsor Elisa Flynn hopes to see them become a fixture whenever Wolverine teams are in action.

“We want fans to bring them to every sporting event,” Flynn said. “We want it to be Polk County-wide.”

The towels include the slogan for this year’s football team, “Leave No Doubt.”
