Polk County battled T.C. Roberson on even terms in singles play Wednesday, but the Rams swept doubles to earn a 6-3 victory in a nonconference match in Skyland.

Hannah Jenne, Virgina Rostick and Sara Muse earned singles wins for Polk County, with Muse bouncing back from a 6-1 loss in the opening set to win 1-6, 6-3, 11-9.

The Rams were able to claim the match on the strength of their doubles wins, dropping Polk County to 1-2 for the season.

The Wolverines return to the road Tuesday, traveling to Crest for a 4 p.m. match.
