Polk County’s girls tennis team rolled to a 7-2 victory Wednesday over West Henderson in the Wolverines’ season opener at Polk.

Polk wrapped up the match win during singles play, taking five of the six singles matches, with senior Hannah Jenn earning a 10-1 win at No. 1 singles to lead the way. Tana Harris, Virginia Rostick, Sara Muse and Ava Marino each added singles wins.

Rostick and Julia Griffin teamed for an 8-0 at No. 2 doubles, while Muse and Delaney Suddreth earned an 8-2 win at No. 3 singles to close the scoring.

Polk County returned to the court on Thursday, hosting Hendersonville.
