The Lanier Library is pleased to have had the help of Student Intern Hannah Byars for the summer of 2018 due to help from the Polk County Community Foundation. The library was thrilled to have this additional help as well as to provide work experience to a local student as they prepare for the future.

Byars is a rising junior at Polk County Early College and was a natural fit for the Lanier Library because of her love of reading. Byars helped this summer collecting digital archives of programs, promotions and artwork for the library, as well as assisting library staff with a much-needed inventory.

The Lanier Library thanks Byars for her hard work for the library and also the Polk County Community Foundation for their efforts in providing work for qualified youth in our area.
