How do we say thank you, when thank you simply isn’t enough?

On Friday, May 18, our world came crashing down around us.

Dad lost his wife, best friend, home and so much more. My sister and I lost our amazing mother, our children lost their grandmother and our entire family was left with a void that cannot be filled.

When our hearts broke, yours broke with ours.

My father was bruised and heartbroken, devastated by what had just happened and so many of you came to him, and to us, with tears in your eyes and a kind word in your heart to help carry us through. By Saturday, my father had more clothes to wear than before, donations to get him through, food for our whole family and prayers for our comfort. We can’t ever say thank you enough.

We have been knocked down, we have felt broken, but we have never felt alone. Thank you cards have been sent but not nearly enough, for those who were missed please know that your kindness was not forgotten.
