Broke down and stranded

I would like to thank the staff at Stott’s Ford and the people of Tryon for being so kind to us when we broke down and were stranded on the interstate. Stott’s Ford arranged for a heavy duty wrecker to tow us to their service bay for repairs. As it turned out we stayed there a few days hooked up to electric and water so we can stay in the camper while they worked on the truck. What could have been a horrible situation turned out to be an extended vacation because Tryon was a delightful little town to be in. We met so many wonderful, friendly people the days we were there. The shops and restaurants made our stay that much better and when we left we exchanged phone numbers with a number of Tryon’s citizens. I know now what the definition of Southern Hospitality is. It is alive and well in Tryon and we are fortunate to have been there.
