McNabb, of Tryon, along with Corey C. McNabb, an Asheville painter who illustrated the book, titled “The Vampire of Waller County” by Suki McMinn (Susan’s pen name for fiction) will greet visitors during the event.

“While I wrote the book, I asked my brother, Corey, to paint Nathan Waller, my main character, and to turn the painting into a book cover,” Susan said. “He painted the perfect portrait.”
