Donna Matz Barrick, 43, of Landrum, passed away on July 11, 2018.  

She was the daughter of Donald and Marilee McDaniel Matz. She was the wife of Ryan Barrick.

Donna was a loving and giving mother, wife, daughter and friend. She inspired others and she motivated them academically and spiritually. 

The rock of her family, she gave 110 percent to everything she was involved in. Donna had a love of education, specifically music. She shared her love of music with many children in her years in education.   

Her laughter was contagious and she was heartfelt and loving. 

She is survived by her parents, Donald and Marilee Matz; her loving husband, Ryan Barrick; her precious daughter, Kristen Barrick; her three brothers, Ray, Donnie and Daniel Matz; her sister, Sunny; and her four-legged family, Cupcake and Hope.

The family received friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018, at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.  

Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
