PEA RIDGE—A vehicle crash on Pea Ridge Road in Polk County killed one and injured two more Friday afternoon.

Initial reports were that one victim was found dead on scene and two were taken to the hospital. One victim was flown by helicopter to the hospital, and the other was taken by ambulance, according to initial reports.

The crash occurred just before 1 p.m. Friday.

The victims were reportedly trapped in the vehicle.

Pea Ridge Road was closed in both directions initially as well as the shoulder of U.S. 74, near the accident. The road was opened later.

More details on the crash, nor the identity of the deceased were available as of press time.
