Tryon Country Club received a  culinary facelift with help from a group of volunteers, members and local professionals. A three-month effort to revitalize the kitchen in the club’s Donald Ross room is now complete. Tryon Womens’ Golf Association president Becky Kennedy called the effort a “labor of love” and praised workers involved. “The kitchen was uninviting, old and cluttered. Now it is light, bright and functional.” TWGA held its monthly luncheon and awards reception in the new area on April 24. For more information call 828-859-9561.
