Patricia Thompson Case, 59, of Tryon, passed away on May 18, 2018. 

She was the daugther of the late Tommy Thompson and Maxine Conner Burris, and wife of Leon Case.

Trish was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was such a gentle soul who loved her family with all her heart. Her smile would light up a room and her laughter was contagious.

We know she is walking tall in heaven now with her Lord and savior and all her loved ones who went on before her. Her family and friends will sure feel the loss of her presence here on earth.

She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Leon Case; two daughters, Leah Morrison (James) and Bridgette Levi (Derek); a brother, Glenn Thompson; a sister, Belinda Yarborough; four grandchildren, Aaron and Breelyn Morrison and Mallory and Carson Levi; her stepmother, Nina Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Friendship Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Hank Vegter, the Rev. Blair Stewart and the Rev. Jesse Yarborough. 

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Leon Case for the rebuilding of his home, P.O. Box 364, Saluda, NC  28773.

The family is at the home of Leah Morrison, 728 Skyuka Road, Columbus, North Carolina.
