Polk County District Court Results – May 9

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 89 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Tina Franklin Belue was convicted of a felony probation violation, possession of methamphetamine, two counts of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance and probation violation out of county. Belue’s probation was revoked and Belue was sentenced to two years supervised probation, 10 days in jail with credit, a $200 fine and court costs.

John Roy Crowe was convicted of level one driving while impaired. Crowe was sentenced to 24 months in jail with 18 days credit.

Jason Edward Duckworth was convicted of level one driving while impaired and driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Duckworth was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 36 months supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, a $500 fine and court costs.

Iykiemie Hass Franklin was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Franklin was fined $20 and court costs.

Jeffrey Kyle Hand was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and reckless driving to endanger. Hand was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $20 fine and court costs.

Michele A. Mittelbronn was convicted of speeding 102 mph in a 65 mph zone. Mittelbronn was fined $200 and court costs.

Alexandra Haley Owen was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Owen was fined $40 and court costs.

Bryan William Sullivan was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Sullivan was fined $40 and court costs.
