Darnell Troy Ashley, 74,  of Tryon, passed away May 7, 2018, at Pardee Hospital after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Crawford Ashley and Ruth Bell. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Pam Ashley.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Ashley; two daughters, Cricket Walker (Eric) and Kim Buckner (Jeff); two grandsons, Luke Walker and Chase Harris; one brother, Joe Ashley; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Tryon, with Dr. Jeffrey Harris officiating.
