Joe Cunningham, longtime organizer of the Landrum Farmers Market, shows off some of his Russian red kale during the market’s first day of the season last Saturday. The market is held on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon on Trade Street. Visitors are encouraged to bring a tote bag for purchases, and bring change, $1 and $5 bills to help the vendors.
