Olivia Overholt made her final middle school track meet a memorable one on Monday.
Overholt delivered dominant performances in the 800 and 1,600 meter runs and helped Polk County Middle’s 4×400-meter relay team also emerge as champions at the Blue Ridge Conference Championships at North Henderson.

The Wolverine boys also took seventh and also brought home a conference title in the 4×400, breaking the four-minute mark at 3:59.38.
Polk’s Braxton Edwards took second in the 400 meters at 58.56 and fourth in the long jump at 16-7, while also competing with the 4×4 squad.
