The Green Blades Garden Club recently planted 288 red and white begonias in their “Park on Trade” and on the corner across from Morris in Tryon. The red and white begonias were chosen to go with the Tryon Downtown Development Association theme of plantings that will be on Main Street beginning in May. A new addition to the park is horse statue from the Art of the Horse project that will be on display until October. Henson’s Mulch provided the mulch. (Submitted by Rita Nichols)
