Polk tennis thumps Mountain Heritage in regular-season home finale
Polk County wrapped up its regular-season home schedule on Tuesday, shutting out Mountain Heritage 9-0 in a Western Highlands Conference boys tennis match.
The Wolverines (12-2, 4-1) will now travel to Owen on Thursday, looking to avenge last week’s loss to the Warhorses and earn a share of the WHC championship. Polk County has never won a conference championship in boys tennis.
Polk County dropped just four games in the nine matches on Tuesday.
