The Tryon Downtown Development Association is thrilled to see the completion of the long-awaited streetscape plan, but the organization and town of Tryon recognizes the construction can come at a cost to businesses along Trade Street. In coordination with the Tryon April Fool’s Day festivities, several downtown merchants are having sales, and The Book Shelf will have a book signing with children’s author Jacquelyn Ingram from 1-3 p.m. There will be street music and activities on the plaza near Tryon Fountain.
