Mary Kathryn Sidener, 66, of Tryon, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018.

She was born in Caracus, Venezuela, to the late Robert Lee Graves and Virginia Kathleen Banbury. 

Mary was a retired translator for Polk County, and a member of Gray’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Mary loved art work and spending time with her family very much.

Survivors include her husband, David R. Sidener; stepdaughter, Mary Baird Wilcox; brother, Claude (Elaine) Graves; and nephews, Zeke and Jacob Graves.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Gray’s Chapel United Methodist Church on County Line Road, with Dr. James Powell officiating.
