The children of Tom and Ellen (Kastriades) Furey happily announce their parents 50th wedding anniversary. (Laurese Nugent and Tommy Furey, both of Charlotte, North Carolina). Tom and Ellen were married on March 24, 1968, in Huntington Station, New York, at St. Elizabeth’s Church. To celebrate this milestone, they renewed their vows at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tryon. A reception followed at The Hare & Hound.
