Mark your calendars for FENCE’s annual Go Fly a Kite day
Go Fly a Kite day will be held on Sunday, April 8, from 1 to 4 p.m.
This annual event is a long running family favorite in the community. Foothills Equestrian Nature Center will provide kites to the first 200 children who arrive, and there will be drinks and snacks for all who attend the event.
Hawk’s Ridge, behind the FENCE center, is the perfect spot to practice your kite flying skills.
This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at the Polk County Community Foundation. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road, Tryon.
