Friends of Agriculture breakfast March 21

Polk County’s Office of Agricultural Economic Development and Polk County Farm Bureau invite the public to the seventh Friends of Agriculture breakfast of the season held on Wednesday at 7 a.m.

Please note the new location of this free event at the Green Creek Community Center in Green Creek, located at 25 Shields Drive in Tryon.

Each Friends of Agriculture breakfast features a local food breakfast and an educational presentation on areas of interest to the community of farmers, gardeners and food enthusiasts.

This month’s breakfast will feature a presentation by Farmer Bill Barker, of Emerald Springs Farm, located in Green Creek.

Polk County’s AED office is seeking volunteers to help with the operation of this event.
