Ramona Fisher Potter

Ramona Fisher Potter died March 7, 2018.

She was born 1929 to the late Claude and Esther Lanning Fisher. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Thomas Potter; and two sisters, Pat and Claudia. 

She is survived by a daughter, Beth; and two sons, Mike and Neil. Also surviving are grandchildren, John, Derek, David, Matt, Zachary, Audrey, Anna and Miles; and great-grandchildren, Adrian and Jaxson.

Mona had many accomplishments, including Teacher of the Year in the state of Virginia. She was a world traveler, teaching English in China and Japan. She was a member of First Baptist Asheville.

Mona left this world grateful for a useful, happy life and looking forward to joining her many relatives. She was a seventh-generation member of the Fisher Family in western North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at Givens Highland Farms Saturday, March 10. She will be interred at the Tryon City Cemetery in Tryon, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to the CarePartners Foundation (The Hospice Solace Center), PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
