‘Pizza and Politics Evening’ with Bob McLain

Popular WORD 106.3 radio personality Bob McLain will be the featured guest at a Pizza & Politics Evening, sponsored by the Polk County Republican Party.

The event will take place on Saturday evening at 5 p.m. at the Polk County Republican Headquarters, 33 S. Peak St., Columbus.

Attendees will have a chance to meet “Bobby Mac” in person, network with each other and participate in a wide-ranging Q&A session with McLain about current issues of interest.

Anyone interested in learning more about conservative populist political ideas or who simply wants to interact with other like-minded individuals is encouraged to attend.  Pizzas will be provided by Wolverine Pizza.  Donations will be accepted.

“I think it is outstanding that Bob McLain is joining us for this event,” said long-time Polk County political leader, Ted Owens, about the upcoming event. “I listen to him on a regular basis, and I am always impressed with the extent of his understanding of conservative thought. In fact, I think that even some of the conservative-minded Democrats and independents in our county might enjoy hearing what he has to say. I hope some of them will consider coming to this event.”
