FENCE to offer spring needle felting class

On Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., Foothills Equestrian Nature Center will offer a needle felting class.

Local fiber artist Irene Heckel will lead this spring-themed class, in which attendees will create needle felted Easter eggs.

The class is geared toward individuals who are new to needle felting or who are interested in learning more about the art. Irene will offer much guidance and expertise, as well as tips and tricks to help you with this or future projects.

This class will be offered at no cost, and supplies will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Contact FENCE to add your name to the list for this event.

Attendees will create multiple eggs, and are encouraged to bring along their own small basket to display their finished work.

To register for this class, contact FENCE at 828-859-9021 or info@fence.org. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road, Tryon.
