Come on out and swing your partner at PacJAM’s semi-annual community folk dance event, to be held at Campobello/Gramling School, 250 Fagan Ave., Campobello, on Saturday, March 10.
It’s sure to be a great foot stomping time for the whole family, with delicious dinner fare of Frogmore Stew, half-pound BBQ plate, or hot dogs and sausage dogs with proceeds to benefit FCA-Chapman.
Phil and Gaye Johnson, along with PacJAM’s Melrose Mountain String Band, will entertain you during the dinner hour beginning at 6 p.m. and the dance will start at 7 p.m., taught and called by renowned professional caller, Jennie Wakefield, with live music accompaniment by the popular Blue Ridge Rounders. Beginners are welcomed.
There will be old fashioned cakewalks before each dance, and you can put your name in the raffle bucket for a chance to win an Amahi Soprano Ukulele.
