Partnership for Children of the Foothills awarded Polk County Public Library Youth Services Librarian Jen Pace Dickenson with a gift card for securing the most pledges in a three-county area for the “Read Aloud 15 Minutes a Day” pledge drive.

Dickenson posted a point-of-service display, and encouraged local parents to sign the pledge, committing to read aloud 15 minutes a day to their children.

When asked what she was going to do with the gift card, she shared that she had received a matching grant from the library, and would be investing in a new interactive station for the youth services area.
