Students in Martha Halford’s second-grade class at Polk Central Elementary looked, well, a bit older during one recent school day.

On the 100th day of the school year, students developed an aged look about them, almost as if they were centenarians themselves.

To mark the day, students wrote about “If I was 100 years old, what will I look like, what will I be doing, and where will I be living?”

Good news — the next day, all students looked like regular second graders again.
