The Polk County Farm Bureau sponsored the monthly Friends of Agriculture breakfast on Jan. 31. The guest speaker was the President of NC Farm Bureau, Larry Wooten. President Wooten discussed Agriculture in North Carolina, the U.S. and agriculture trade worldwide. The Friends of Agriculture breakfast is held at the Green Creek Community the third Wednesday of the month from 7-8 a.m. Come join us for a farm fresh breakfast made from scratch and good information about what is happening in Polk County and on the farms in the county.
