During the month of January 2018, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 569 calls for service.

There were 14 felony arrests, 24 misdemeanor arrests and 40 citations issued.

Officers served 64 civil papers, 35 criminal papers, completed 1,069 house checks, 3,294 business checks, 1,739 church checks, assisted the public seven times and patrolled 24,542 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 66 inmates, including 48 males and 18 females.
