Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 106 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Carlos Lester Aleman was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Aleman was to pay court costs only.

Brandie Sherell Angel was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Angel was fined $20 and court costs.

Alejan Angelrodriguez was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Angelrodriguez was fined $40 and court costs.

Megan Ritsch Barnett was convicted of failure to appear. Barnett was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.

Jonathan Harry was convicted of possess counterfeit instrument and possess/manufacture fraudulent identification. Harry was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served, one year supervised probation and court costs.

Chelsea Renee Loveday was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Loveday was fined $40 and court costs.

Scarlett W. Mickler was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Mickler was fined $20 and court costs.

Jonathan Adam Parris was convicted of two counts of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Parris was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served.

Robert Calvin Pergram was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Pergram was fined $40 and court costs.

Angelina E. Sotelo was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Sotelo was fined $40 and court costs.

Randall K. Wellborn was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Wellborn was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.

James Russel Williams was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Williams was fined $40 and court costs.
