Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 104 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Kristy Lynn Barbeau was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Barbeau was fined $40 and court costs.

Robin Godfrey Bishop was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Bishop was fined $10.

Kevin Joshua Broyles was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Broyles was fined $40 and court costs.

Kenneth Eugene Cash was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Cash was sentenced to one day in jail, one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Ezekiel Tyler Gillespie was convicted of unsafe movement. Gillespie was fined $25 and court costs.

Timothy Aaron Maye was convicted of possession of stolen goods/property. Maye was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Michael H. McCallister was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. McCallister was fined $20 and court costs.
