Examples of Longfellow’s Evangeline

The Lanier Library continues its 2018 events with a special “Show and Tell” with avid collector Mike McCue.  Join us at the library as he discusses and shares his display of beautifully illustrated poetry books of Longfellow’s Evangeline at the Lanier Library on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m.

The books are on display at the library through the month of January. They’re full of interesting imagery to compare and contrast with each other.  On this day Mike will open the display case and let participants touch, see, and savor these books. Come enjoy this ornate and interesting collection up close.
