Backstage with the Bard presents famous scenes from the works of William Shakespeare

Experience the works of William Shakespeare in an exciting, new way with the latest installment of the Stage Door Series: Backstage with the Bard.

Local actors from across the foothills will present a staged reading of some of the most popular and enduring scenes from the comedies and tragedies of Shakespeare. From Julius Caesar and Macbeth to A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo and Juliet, this one-hour production will feature something for everyone.

Backstage with the Bard brings the classic works of William Shakespeare up close and personal on Tuesday, January 16 at 7pm. As part of Tryon Fine Arts Center’s Stage Door Series, you’re seated on the Veh Stage with the actors for an intimate experience of the classic drama.
