Kelly Gay, Polk County Soil and Water District administrator

From her office in the Mill Spring Agricultural Center, Gay works throughout the county with farmers, land owners, property managers, homeowners and individuals to promote voluntary methods of preserving our county’s resources. In this role, she partners with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Conservation Service, and the N.C. Soil and Water Conservation Commission.

As part of her presentation, Kelly will describe various projects the Polk Soil & Water Conservation District has been involved with to put conservation measures on the ground locally. There will be interesting demonstrations and she will welcome questions from the audience.
